Subject: So much to say...So little time...
What's up Groovers,
boy oh boy...I do have a lot to say and very little time. Right in the middle of making a film and time is of the essence. However, want to say, as always thanks for keeping it positive here in the hood. I
stop by when I can to see what you all are up to and I smile on the inside when I read all the posts of encouragement and positivity. There are alot of good vibes between you all and I LOVE IT! Want to say a big huge thank you to Miss Derri for taking the time to stop by Harvard the other day. I always love seeing any of the groovers, thanks for the support. I was not sure what was about to happen and seeing a frinedly face in the crowd made a big difference! Speaking of Harvard and the Pudding Pot...thank you all for getting the joke. I had a ball...when I say ball...I mean BALL! The students were so sweet and wonderful and I was truly moved by their expression of appreciation. And, I got to cut up a bit...which I love doing when ever I get a chance. Andrew, thanks for keeping the Groovers Groovin'. You always manage to get pics and appearances up before anyone else.
Shoot, when I want to know something about myself I go to your site! :) Thank you for being awesome and a huge part of Hallewood. To all the other groovers....too many to name, thanks for the constant love. I appreciate you all so very much. You always have my back no matter what. I hope to organize a contest soon which will allow me the chance to meet a few more of you and say thank you in person. No pressure Robin.....but it's up to YOU to get it going! :) How much do I love Robin? Thank you for being an outstanding leader of this group and the best pal a gal could ask for. Ok that was corney...but I'm like that sometimes! I love ya.

Subject: Happy New Year
Happy New Year Everybody! As this year comes to an end I am filled with gratitude. I thank each and every one of you for your loyal support and constant love. It has been my pleasure and privilege reading your many e-mails and actually meeting some of you this year. As the years roll on I hope to meet more of you and thank you personally for your support.

As you all know, 2004 was a challenging year for me. I thank you for standing by me and graciously respecting my privacy. However, I have learned over the years that with the darkness comes the light. I plan on using the many lessons I've learned this year to inform my every moment of next year. I am looking forward to having an inspired new year filled with all things good, TRUE, and real. I know many of you were faced with great obstacles this year as well and I trust all of you were made stronger because of your experiences. I am thrilled that many of you have found comfort in hallewood and have made meaningful friendships here that have helped you through the tough times. I have to tell you, I am proud of the way you all support and encourage each other. My wish for this site has been realized 100times over...and that makes me smile. ;) hallewood is a great place to be and I thank you ALL for protecting it's integrity and for not allowing the "nay sayers" to ruin the good thing we have going. ;)

My wish for 2005 is that we all continue to find our light after each patch of darkness. I pray that we have the eyes to see the lesson of the darkness and the heart to embrace the growth of the light. As I always say, until I'm on my back in that little box looking straight up, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE if you just believe. And finally, I pray that we all make time to stay on a spiritual path that brings us closer to our higher selves and our maker.

Have a blessed 2005....and as always....LET'S KEEP GROVIN YAWL!

Subject: It's been a while
Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since you've heard from me. First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for holding me down during the release of CW. I had a ball making that film and gained many new insights about myself in the process. So, it's all good. Thank you guys for always standing by me no matter what!
I also want to thank you for the incredible birthday gifts. I loved everthing. You know I love candles and I love PJ's, so I was in heaven. Your kinds words and well wishes warmed my heart . Everytime I put those PJ's on I FEEL THE LOVE! I love baths as well, so all the smell goods have been used
already. The jewlery is awesome and you WILL see me wearing it!
I want to thank Alexander Horn for being so sweet in Germany and for the DVD. I had fun watching it and seeing what you guys like. It was interesting and your comments at the end brought me to tears. Thank you to all the groovers that took the time to be a part of that. Alex, you are the man. It was really nice to meet you face to face and tell you how much I appreciate all you do.
As always thanks to Robirob..without her none of this would be possible...she makes it happen and allows me to stay in the loop with you and you with me. She is always thinking of new ways for us to stay connected. I still don't know how she does all this and works her real job at the same time. Thank you girl, you know I love you!
As for me, I'm doing OK. I know you all know on a personal level it's been rough, but I do appreciate you all keeping the Hood positive and always looking at the glass as half full. I am at yet another crossroad in my life (been here many times before) so I know this too shall pass. I know I am
being fired in the heat... just to come out GOLD! I want you all to remember that and apply that to your own lives. My faith is strong and I am doing very well. Thank you for your concern and well wishes.
I"m taking a break this fall...need some time to breathe and live life a bit in order to portray life. I'll be back working after the new year. However, watch out for "EYES" this March. I am really proud of that and I just know you guys are gonna love it. Zora is an amazing writer and the characters are so full and rich. We (the entire cast) had so much to work with and we all enjoyed every single second on the set bringing it to life.
Finally, I know I mentioned having a chat. I'll work on getting that together for the fall with Robi. Until then, take good care and thank YOU again for holding me down!

Subject: Missing You
Hey groovers...I know it's been a long time since I last chimmed in on you. I miss you guys!!!! I've been working like crazy getting ready for Cat Women and trying to finish up "Eyes". Thank you all for holding it down for me always. I'm at home sick and shut in and I just spent the last 2 hours reading through all of your posts and I must say you guys are AWESOME! Thank you! A big thanks to Andrew for always going the extra mile to keep us all in the Groove...thanks to my sista, Derri Berri for sharing her trip to the set...I had a ball with her and she is without a doubt a real beauty-inside and out! Linda I hope your mom is feeling better. Flipper thanks for your wonderful sense of humor and for keeping the groovers rollin'. Pammy thanks for your thoughtful posts. Much love to all the new groovers thanks for joining the hood and to all the oldies but goodies...you know I love you. Groovers.....what's up! Happy New Year. I know it's a bit late and I do apologize. I worked right up uintil the day I left for my vacation and didn't have a chance to go online. I had a wonderful holiday and I hope you all did as well. I'm getting really excited to meet Derri...she seems so sweet
and dear. Robin and I promise to take lots of pictures so you all can join in the fun. "Catwomen" is going well and I can't wait to share this film with you guys. I believe you all are going to love it..despite the controversy over the mask :)! I am thrilled to welcome all the new groovers to our family...thanks for joining the hood. Subject: what a weekend!

Oh my Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. That is all I can say at this moment. I am thrilled to death that all ofmy lovely fans helpled me...ME..open Gothika! Wow...I am still in shock. And you know what happens when I go into shock??? I starating crying. :) I was crying all day today just realising the huge vicoty this past weekend. I had high hopes but with the help of the fans...and my groover family we pulled it off. Thank you all from all over the country (and the world) for your support. Even when the critics tried to keep folks away, the majority still gave me a chance. I am grateful. I'm also thrilled that after you all stuck your neck out on a limb and chose to support me and see Gothika, that you were not only scared to death but you all liked the movie so much. Robin has been sending me your comments, your blow by blow break downs, your favorite scenes and favorite lines from the film...and I just love it. I really like the line "no you put down the gun" as well (no it was not in the script).
I hope we can keep the sales going through the holiday weekend...keep passsing along the good word and sending out those good vibes :). I wish each and everyone one of you a joyous Thanksgiving Day celebration. I hope you are with your family or loved ones eating so much food that you need a folk lift to move you from the table to the bed!
